Founder and CEO

Josh Dunn is the founder and CEO of Premier Media Group and is proudly serving the community while serving on the boards of the UW Milgard School of Business and the Association of Washington Business. He is a devoted family man to his wife Michelle and three incredible kids. In his spare time, Josh loves to golf, hike, travel, and rockhound.

Favorite weekend adventure: I love hiking Olympic National Park, Staircase. Epic waterfalls with blue holes.

Talent or interest: I love pre-1940 vintage Coca-Cola memorabilia. I collect stuff.

Editor in Chief

Lisa Patterson is the editor of 425 and South Sound magazines and has grown the brands from infancy and ideas to what they are today during her almost two decades with Premier Media Group. She enjoys yoga, dance fitness classes (currently Commit), and cooking (but not doing the dishes). 

Favorite weekend adventure: Seabrook

Talent or interest: I have Northwest cuisine dialed in. I dig and fry the best razor clams; have serious scone-making skills after working in a Fisher Scone wagon; and once inspired a popcorn company to add Almond Roca to a recipe so they named it after me. I also won a mac and cheese recipe contest.

Go-to dining: I always crave Thai food.


Managing Editor

Joanna Kresge is a neurodivergent Pennsylvania transplant who came to Washington after five years as a U.S. Air Force photojournalist. A University of Washington grad, Joanna began her career at Premier Media Group as an intern in 2015. When the award-winning writer and mom of two isn’t working, she enjoys Janet Evanovich novels, mint gelato, “Gilmore Girls” rewatches, national parks, and “singing” in the car.

Favorite weekend adventure: A gentle cold plunge at Sunnyside Beach in Steilacoom, followed by vittles from Legendary Donuts while enjoying the Sunday Seattle Times with my family.

Talent or interest: I have much of the Dewey Decimal System memorized thanks to an early career as a library technician.

Go-to dining: Anthem Coffee at Point Ruston by day, The Rock Wood Fired Pizza in Auburn by night.


Director of Sales

Lander Martinson was born and raised in Tacoma where he attended Stadium High School before graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with degrees in psychology and education. He’s been part of Premier Media Group since 2003 and is looking forward to many more years as director of sales. Lander and his wife, Rosie, have four wonderful boys and enjoy spending their family time traveling, golfing, and listening to music (mostly ’70s and ’80s classics). He also coached competitive basketball at various levels since 1989.

Favorite weekend adventure: Alderbrook Resort — the views and atmosphere are second to none.

Talent or interest: I learned to play the French horn and trumpet at age 10 and I have a mind for trivia.

Go-to dining option: The Lobster Shop on Ruston Way.


Account Executive

Bob Cody was Premier Media Group’s first employee 22 years ago but took a 10-year stint in international software sales before returning to PMG eight years ago. 

Favorite weekend adventure: On Saturdays, I do some polar plunging in the Puget Sound and then spend time with my grandkids and play family games after dinner. 

Talent or interest: I did a lot of acting in the past, and still crave to get back into it if time ever permits.

Lead Designer

Meagan Phillips has been a graphic designer with Premier Media Group since 2018. In her spare time, she shares her love for dancing and teaches Zumba at her local YMCA. Meagan also enjoys cooking new recipes, salsa dancing, exploring lighthouses, and hanging out with her crazy pup, Scarlett.

Favorite weekend adventure: Sequim

Marketing Manager  

Nikki Fisher joined Premier Media Group in 2019, after graduating from Central Washington University and wokring as an account manager. Nikki is an expecting momma-to-be who loves reading, the outdoors, and spending quality time with friends and family. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Exploring the Olympic Peninsula.

Talent or interest: If you turn on a radio, I know 90% of the songs that will play word for word.

Go-to dining: Peaks & Pints in Proctor


Digital Content Manager

Before joining Premier Media Group in 2020, Blake Peterson was a reporter at Sound Publishing, where he covered East King County. Blake also is a movie critic and member of the Seattle Film Critics Society. Currently, he authors 425 and South Sound’s Movie Love column (among his many duties) and his website, Peterson Reviews. When not watching movies, he likes to read and travel. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Olympic National Park’s numbered beaches 

Talent or interest: I studied classic piano for more than a decade.

Go-to dining: Nue on Capitol Hill or Bottlehouse in Madrona


Senior Account Manager

After a 23-year career in the radio industry, Scott Paine joined Premier Media Group in 2005 to help launch 425 magazine. In 2017, Scott was named Associate Publisher of 425 magazine where he handles client advertising and strategic media partnerships, and contributes ideas to other departments, as well. Scott is proud to help build the 425 brand as Seattle’s Eastside continues to grow into one of the strongest markets in the United States.

Favorite weekend adventure: Going for a long walk in Manchester State Park.

Talent or interest: I make an unusual popping sound with my hands that always gets people’s attention.

Go-to dining: Dino’s Pub in Renton.


Digital Ad Manager

Melia Wilkinson moved to the Pacific Northwest with her family in 2013 and immediately fell in love with the area. Before working at PMG, she had a career first in nonprofit marketing and then in retail marketing before landing in sales after her child was born. She has been able to use her marketing background to help her clients achieve success through their advertising efforts.

Favorite weekend adventure: Spending an afternoon at Mox Boarding House playing games and drinking great coffee.

Talent or interest: I can speak a little bit of Japanese.

Go-to dining: Joey's at University Village; clients love the free Champagne and I love the care they give to their customers.


Account Executive

Ty Ray was a Navy kid who spent his childhood growing up in Castro Valley, California, while his dad was stationed in Alameda. It was in the Bay Area where he grew his love of sports. Following his father's retirement, he relocated to Port Orchard for high school and became one of the best public speakers in the state, winning multiple awards. Following education at WSU for communications, Ty worked as a multi-award-winning television sports anchor/reporter in Medford, Spokane, San Luis Obispo, and Denver. He has been at PMG for seven years and lives in Gig Harbor with his sweetheart of 26 years.

Favorite weekend adventure: Spending the day at Point Defiance Park or the beach at Westport.

Talent or interest: At one time I hosted a podcast called Beats & Eats, where I interviewed musicians and celebrities. I was nominated for a national award.

Go-to dining: Puerto Vallarta or El Pueblito in Gig Harbor.


Senior Advertising Executive  

Jaurdey Samuel’s background was in the business startup world working for a venture investment group in the PNW. Honing his skills in startup, Jaurdey was able to help serve the University of Washington Tacoma to launch the Veterans Entrepreneurship Start-Up Business Incubator (VIBE), which has gone on to fund many new businesses that employ veterans. He was brought on board PMG to help launch sales for the 425 Business brand at its inception. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Hiking Mount Eerie Lookout. Afterward, we head north to explore Bellingham, grab a bite at Bantam Chicken, and stay at the Chrysalis Inn. We finish the day with a treat at Woods Coffee on the waterfront. 

Talent or interest: I enjoy riding motorcycles and own a racing blue Yamaha super sport bike that is tucked away in the back of my garage. Second to that, I love to motocross German sports cars on local tracks. 

Go-to dining: Ascend; the view, the attention to detail, the unique cocktails, the incredible service, did I mention the view?


Sales and Marketing Executive

Caleb Dunn is the sales and marketing executive at Premier Media Group. He grew up in DuPont and graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He finds himself most often in the outdoors on a bike, snowboard, or on a trail off-roading. Caleb is most passionate about faith, family, and friendships and can always be found holding a local coffee. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Tiger Mountain Bike Park

Talent or interest: I work in front of a computer but prefer to work on mechanical/construction projects.

Go-to dining: Matador at happy hour


Admin/Production Coordinator

Jessica Stewart joined Premier Media Group in 2022, after moving from Nebraska to be closer to her sister and start a family. She has two corgis and one son. Jessica enjoys reading, doing house projects, and rewatching “Lord of the Rings” for the hundredth time. When she’s not being a homebody, her whole pack can be found out on a hike or camping. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Deschutes Falls 

Talent or interest: Being able to start multiple house projects and never finish them.

Go-to dining: A meal while relaxing on my couch!


Lead Designer

Alex Schloer joined Premier Media Group as a junior designer in 2014 and has since climbed the ranks to lead designer. Always on the hunt for a good deal, Alex loves frequenting garage sales and thrift stores with his girlfriend, Kelly, when he's not perfecting printed pages or crafting clever covers. 

Favorite weekend adventure: The Green River College trail system is great for hiking, and exploring, and even includes some fantastic views of Mount Rainier.

Talent or interest: I have a somewhat unusual collection — vintage desk lamps. I think I have somewhere around 50, currently.

Go-to dining: KKO KKO Place (amazing fried chicken), Harbor City, or Red Hot.


Writer and Designer 



Stephanie Quiroz has been creating and storytelling since she was a little girl, a passion that led her to become a reporter for Sound Publishing, where she covered East King County news. Since joining Premier Media Group in 2021, Stephanie has dipped her toes into designing magazine pages, too. When not hunting for new coffee shops, you’ll find her thrifting, traveling, or lifting weights.  

Favorite weekend adventure: Point No Point Lighthouse in the Kitsap Peninsula 

Talent or interest: I love to sing.

Go-to dining: Lander Coffee


Staff Writer

John Stearns joined Premier Media Group in 2019 after holding writing or editing roles at business journals and newspapers in Connecticut, Kansas, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, and California. He loves sports and the outdoors, from walks with the family dog, Bear, to golfing with his wife, Susan, to family getaways with their son, Jack.

Favorite weekend adventure: My wife and I enjoy occasionally getting away to Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine.

Talent or interest: The ability to create cringe-worthy puns out of thin air.

Go-to dining: Anywhere with good fish tacos.


Staff Writer

Hailee Wickersham first joined Premier Media Group in 2022 as an intern. She officially joined the team full-time in 2024. Outside of work, Hailee considers herself a lifelong equestrian and enjoys working with horses and other animals. When she’s not in a barn, she enjoys uncovering new music, listening to podcasts, and trying out new recipes in her kitchen. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Any forest service road off I-90 toward Snoqualmie Pass is great really. 

Talent or interest: I can do circus-level hula hoop tricks. 

Go-to dining option: As of right now, I’m loving Candor Coffee in Renton. It’s a great place to plug in a laptop. It also has plenty of seating, plus, and one of the best dill scones around.


Staff Writer

Destiny Valencia always wanted to be a writer and got her start writing for her school paper while attending the University of Washington. She became an intern with Premier Media Group in 2023 moving to full-time in 2024. In her spare time, Destiny loves to listen to investigative podcasts, audio books at 1.5 speed, and watch movies while cuddling her two cats Gizmo and Mr. Mistoffelees. 

Favorite weekend adventure: Backpacking or camping in the Olympics.

Talent or interest: I am a pretty good impressionist.

Go-to dining: Grabbing a bowl of pho at Pho King, a burrito at Taqueria La Fondita, or some pizza from Wooden City.


Finance Manager

Terri Hallis has been with Premier Media Group for 14 years. She has two grown children and one well-pampered dog. Her favorite weekend adventure is escaping with her friends from high school to Whidbey Island to play games, drink wine, and take in the views. She enjoys watching “The Bachelor.”

Favorite weekend adventure: Unwinding on Whidbey Island or cheering on the Seahawks or UW Huskies.

Talent or interest: I’m one heck of a Rummikub player.

Go-to dining: Cactus and Duke’s Seafood


Admin Client and Service Coordinator

Avery Metcalf joined Premier Media Group in 2024, after graduating from Southeastern University with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Avery's greatest passions include her faith, her family and friends, and traveling the Pacific Northwest with her Australian Labordoodle. When she's not outside, you can find her at a local coffee shop.

Favorite weekend adventure: Finding new trails at Mt. Rainer or driving to the coast.

Talent or interest: Avery spent three months backpacking in Mexico (huge REI fan).

Go-to dining: Farm 12 for breakfast, Fika for coffee and Puyallup’s greatest taco truck, “I Love Tacos”.
