The Owl's Nest

Settle into The Owl’s Nest for all things warm and cozy this fall. The Olympia café and artistic hub serves scratch-made pastries, coffee, and lunch offerings with an extra shot of creativity.

Owner Shelby Haggard set out to create a space where community members could catch up over plant-based bites and coffee drinks made with organic syrups. She wanted to serve locally sourced ingredients and display local artwork. About two years ago, The Owl’s Nest was born.

Since opening the doors, the only thing that’s really changed is the rotation of artwork for sale that’s on exhibit on the colorful gallery wall. A different local artist is featured every two months.

Patrons can stop in for autumn/winter drinks such as spiced chocolate chai, Lattin’s apple cider, and gingery golden milk. Pair drinks with treats such as pumpkin muffins topped with cream cheese frosting, maple pecan cookies, and frosted sugar cookies.

Additionally, lifestyle goods such as soaps, ceramics, illustrations, and botanical art are available for gift-giving throughout the holiday season, along with unique works by featured artist (and the owner’s mom) Diane Haggard.
